Great Music for Busy Lives.

Community Engagement

RHC brings expert musical instruction to under-resourced neighborhoods in Chicago through a long-term strategy of artistic and community collaboration. Recently, RHC has launched residency programs in two communities, East Garfield Park and the Back of the Yards.

In partnership with Third Coast Percussion, Axiom Brass, Spektral Quartet and Sones De Mexico, RHC is designing curricula for students that is unique, and seeks to celebrate and honor local musical traditions while building a strong educational foundation through classical music training in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
